Mermaids and More - Updated August 16, 2010

My Mermaids

Here are a few of my latest see the rest, visit my Facebook page:

I have added some new pictures and albums on my Facebook page. Click the link above and scroll through the albums to see the latest items I am working on...penguins, horsey heads, froggy longlegs and more to come!!

On a sad note, the doggies pictured above were based on (NASCAR driver) Ryan and Krissie Newman's dogs..I just found out that Digger (top photo, center doggie with 3 legs) died last week. So sorry for the loss of their pet...She was a great dog and also made a great model for me to make a felted version of her...

Spring Things for 2010!!

Happy New Year!

While we are in the deep freeze here in Indiana, I am busy working on Spring things for Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day! Bunnies and chicks for your Easter basket are on my list along with all of my Pocket Pals from last year! I also am working on a new doll and hobby horses. Also thrown in has been some charity knitting for Riley's Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. My niece and I made 15 dolls that I will be delivering to them in the near future!

I am also happy to announce that for those of you who live in Central Pennsylvania, my ornaments and dolls and other new items will be on display and available for purchase at the Perry County Council for the Arts in Newport, PA. Look for my Spring things in mid-February. In the meantime, my Christmas and winter items are still there! If you are in the area, stop by and check them out along with other great handmade work by local artisans. Buy Handmade - support your local crafters!!

Pictures coming later today....
