Celebrate Summer Solstice and visit the botanical garden, enjoy live music and shop local artists photo art, rock art, yard art, metal creations, textile and jewelry, with much more at the art fair.


I will NOT be there in person, but a tree of my garden themed ornaments will be available for purchase including frogs, toads, fairy houses, mossy houses, bees, ladybugs, turtles, Jenny Birds, Ladies in Hats, toadstools, 3 kinds of bugs, tropical fish, Perky Poseys and more!

This is a free event!!

My next show is coming up June 8th and 9th....

Hours are 11 - 4 each day.....and will be held at the new BASH Event Center in Carmel (just off Keystone Ave.)

I will have a full lineup of my latest knitfelted whimsies including my latest Crazy Cat Ladies, Wild fluffy kitten ornaments (in 15+ colors), and lots of llamas and alpacas in full sized ornaments, pin/ornies and toppers too!

My booth will be INSIDE the building. Look for my lighted trees of ornaments!

Fiber Extravaganza

   

My next show is less than 2 weeks away...I will have a full complement of my usual cats, dogs, farm, zoo and woodland animals, along with a large selection of fiber animals (llamas, alpacas, goats, bison and bunnies!)

This event is kid and pet friendly and is indoors and outdoors at The Sycamore at Mallow Run! (Beer and wine will be available too!!) Fun for everyone! Hope to see you there!

Spring Shows 2019

Hard to believe it is already April and that means my Spring shows are upon us!!

I only have 3 shows scheduled in April and May this year....all in Indiana...

The Fiber Event in Greencastle, IN on April 19 and 20th (is is a Friday/Saturday event)

Pet Pawlooza at the Mallow Run Winery near Bargersville, Indiana on Sunday April 28th.

Fiber Extravaganza at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Indiana on May 18 - 19th. (this is a Saturday/Sunday event)

Sweater Bunnies 2019

Sweater Bunnies made from the scraps of felted sweaters! I was given a bag of felted sweater scraps to use to make something or use as stuffing. These Sweater Bunnies are what I made!

It was fun going thru the bags of scraps and finding ways to cut the pieces to make a wide variety of bunnies. I added the ears and tail (yes, they all have a white felted tail too) and felted them a few more cycles!

They are all different and come in lots of sizes and shapes. Some have a bowtie and some don't. Some are wide bodies and some are tall.

A basket full of these would make the perfect gift for the Easter Bunny to leave for anyone young or old!

New just in time for Valentine's Day.......

Doggie Toppers with heart tags! Can use these as tree toppers or over bottles or even over large plastic eggs (which is what I used to stand them up for this picture!)

Also new is the latest addition to the McOinker family......this is Mo McOinker and he is a topper for a tree or over a bottle......might add a felted hat to him or might just leave him hatless!!

What's New January 2019!!

What's new so far in January 2019........Wild Fluffy alpaca yarn Kittens! Since alpaca yarns 
'fluff' much more than sheep wools do....I decided to make some kitten ornaments out of various bright colors of alpaca yarn and fluffing them out! POOF!

Pictured here are the first 5 that I finished....I have 5 more colors that I will be adding to the  mix once I get them made...magenta, magenta/pink heather, medium pink, medium green and dark green heather!
And here they are!

Happy New Year!! Taking a bit of a break from production (needed to reorganize my studio and yarn storage area), but am looking to start knitting new things soon!
