On a sad note, the doggies pictured above were based on (NASCAR driver) Ryan and Krissie Newman's dogs..I just found out that Digger (top photo, center doggie with 3 legs) died last week. So sorry for the loss of their pet...She was a great dog and also made a great model for me to make a felted version of her...

I have added some new links on the right hand sidebar for more pictures of my current items and new stuff I am working on...My latest thing...hand dyed wool!!! I have dyed lots of basket reed over the years for my baskets, but had never done yarn...until Saturday! Click the Yarn Dyeing link to see my first attempts!! They came out pretty good considering I did them all with food coloring and/or Kool Aid!! This is VERY addictive...I want to do more.....

Spring Things for 2010!!

Happy New Year!

While we are in the deep freeze here in Indiana, I am busy working on Spring things for Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day! Bunnies and chicks for your Easter basket are on my list along with all of my Pocket Pals from last year! I also am working on a new doll and hobby horses. Also thrown in has been some charity knitting for Riley's Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. My niece and I made 15 dolls that I will be delivering to them in the near future!

I am also happy to announce that for those of you who live in Central Pennsylvania, my ornaments and dolls and other new items will be on display and available for purchase at the Perry County Council for the Arts in Newport, PA. Look for my Spring things in mid-February. In the meantime, my Christmas and winter items are still there! If you are in the area, stop by and check them out along with other great handmade work by local artisans. Buy Handmade - support your local crafters!!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who visited the Artisan's Marketplace in Newport and York, and also the Christmas at the Guild and CVC Holiday Studio Tour the last few months!!

And good news...my things will be available year round at the PCCA Gallery in Newport!! I will post more about this in the new year when they reopen!
So if you missed out getting there before Christmas...you can still stop by and check things out in January!!

New Spring things from me will be coming there soon!!! (OK...probably in February) Lots of felted Easter Basket goodies!!

I was chosen to be part of the next infomercial for Michael Thurmond's Six Week Body Makeover!!

I spent 4 days in Los Angeles shooting my testimonial and still shots and also meeting 17 others who are also Success Stories!! Hair, makeup and wardrobe by professionals really makes a difference, too. I clean up pretty well for someone who really doesn't like to spend much time primping!!

A few of us even had lunch with Micheal Thurmond himself!! What a treat that was!! Two hours of good ON PLAN food and conversation!!!
